Hello,

I'm looking in the datasheet for timing data for SCI in UART mode. What's the maximum baud rate supported on F28004X? It seems like the datasheet just skips from the intro to SPI mode without any further data on UART mode.

I found this related post for the LIN peripheral which looks like it's a SCI peripheral in disguise, does this SYSCLK/32 also apply to the regular SCI module?

    Hello Munan,

    Thank you for your question! I would highly recommend looking instead at our device Technical Reference Manual (located below the datasheet link on the product page, and at this link here) for in-depth information on each of the peripherals. Particularly Chapter 23, starting at page 2249, covers the SCI module and its timings, including maximum baud rate and calculations related to it.

    Hi Vince,

    Thanks for the response, just for people looking for a quick answer the max supported baud rate is LSPCLK/16 which for F28004x is a max of 6.25 Mbps.
