CCS/TMS320F28388D: F28388D controlCARD evaluation module using C2000ware example led_ex1_blinky, cannot connected after built and debug

Hi,

I am learning how to use F28388D controlCARD evaluation module. After I imported and built the C2000ware example led_ex1_blinky (no error), I debugged and it shows an connection error. I just use a USB cable connect the board and PC. I am not sure what the problem is. And another question is whether thisled_ex1_blinky could blink the led in the F28388D controlCARD evaluation module? Could you give some help? Thanks.

The LED Blinky Example in F2838x_FRM_EX_UG is quite simple. Could TI give some more detailed and related examples for F28388D controlCARD evaluation module's customers? Thanks.

Hi Peter,

You will need to power the device F28388D and the another usb connection for XDS100. Please refer to user's guide for setup.

There are multiple examples in C2000ware DriverLib examples.

Hi Santosh,

Thanks for your help. And I've fixed the 'emulator' problem. Then, I found another problem. When I debugged the led1_cpu1 example, everything is OK. But When I debugged the led1_cpu2 example, it failed, shown below.

And there was(should be) a “Launching Debug Session” window to select CPU1,CPU2 or CM after I debugged the program, but then it does not show any more. I am not sure why.
