TMS320F28379D: About boot mode pin settings of TMS320F28379D

I would like to ask about boot mode pin setting.

I'm checking the manual SPRUHM8I , I want to ask detail information.

We want to use boot-to-flash.

Question

1, At the default setting, GPIO72 and GPIO84 are boot mode pin. If we want to use other GPIO for boot mode pins, How should I set register?

2, If we use other GPIO pins and also these GPIOs are connected nothing, I think that it will boot correctly because GPIO have internal pull-up.

    Is that correct?

3, Could you tell me about  UI settings when using USER OTP?

4, In case of booting from Flash, is it necessary to assign boot mode pin?

    Are there any boot way without boot mode pin setting?

    1) Please take a look at Table 4-5. BOOTCTRL(1) Register Bit Fields for CPU1 in TRM

    2) Please see 8.8 Internal Pullup Configuration Requirements in TRM. 

    3) Are you asking about the flash plugin GUI settings? Please clarify.  What exact USER OTP settings are you asking about?

    4) On this device, flash boot requires boot mode pin configuration - we can not skip boot mode GPIO pin configuration.

    Because TMS320F28379D can not boot on our prototype board situation, I am considering the reason.

    And OTP can use only 1 time, so I want to check if our recognition is correct or not in this E2E.

    1) According to 8.8 Internal Pullup Configuration Requirement in TRM, it is not mentioned ZWT packages, How about ZWT package?

        In case of Input mode , are all GPIOs internal pullup enabled? 

    2) So if GPIO set input mode and connect nothing, I think these ports can use as boot mode pin. Is that correct?

        We have some vacant pins in our system, I want to assign these vacant pins as boot mode pin. 

    3)If we are not setting BOOTCTL register using OTP,  I think it will boot from Flash if nothing is connected to GPIO72 and GPIO84. Is that Correct?

       Or need external pull-up resister?

    4) If GPIO is assigned as Boot mode pin, can this GPIO also use other function as input mode? 

    5)I found that OTPBOOTCTRL in CCS. If I push "Program OTPBOOTCTRL" button, Will BOOTCTRL register valid?

    1) User application has to enable pull-up by using the functions suggested.

    2) Yes. 

    3) External pull-up is recommended since the internal pull-ups are weak.

    4) I think it can be used once the boot pin functionality is done - However, as I mentioned above, external pull-ups are suggested on the boot pins.  Please use those pins as appropriate based on that.

    5) If you program it using the CCS On-chip flash plugin button or as part of the out file, then the register content will be changed as per your configuration.  And you can not change it once it gets programmed.

    6) Is this question same as that of #4?
