Hi Expert,

My customer are do the certification of IEC60730, and 3rd party have some question as attached, would you help answer the question below? for more details, refer to the attached.

Question 1：there are a lot of Core Registers that from CCS windows？why STL_CPU_TEST only cover part of CPU core register? Any document to talk if these are not safety related ? ？

Question 2：there are OSC1 and OSC2 two clock source, is these two clock independent？any document to introduce？

Question 3：PSA CRC is hardware module or software module？

    1. Can you clarify which ones you're talking about? PC is covered by another module in the library. It is true that ST1 and RPC are missing. I wrote tests for these in the F28004x port of this test that could be added to the F2803x version. If you have a newer version of C2000Ware installed, take a look at C2000Ware\libraries\diagnostic\f28004x\source\stl_cpu_reg.asm.

    If this question is referring to STF, RxL, and RxH registers, those are all part of the FPU--which if I recall correctly doesn't actually apply to this device.

    2. They are separate internal oscillators if that's what you mean by independent. I think the TRM is the primary place that documents the oscillators and their uses.

    3. The PSA is hardware.

    for question #3, 3rd party think that hardware for CRC is not reliable, they think CRC should be done all by software, do we have any further material to prove that PSA for CRC is compliance with IEC60730?
