Hello,
I am using the TMS320F28377S and it seems to be held in reset. I am able to connect to the device though the XDS110 debug probe and start my program, but on power cycle, the MCU does not run. It seems that the TRST overrides whatever my issue is.
The /XRS pin is at 3.3V. I have disabled my watchdog reset and the problem persists.
Any input is appreciated.
Thanks,
Cameron
Cameron,
Device cannot be in reset if you are able to connect to it and run your program. Besides, you say -XRS is at 3.3v. Please clarify what makes you think the device is in reset.
Is it that your code programmed in flash does not run after cycling power (with the debug probe disconnected)?
Yes, my assumption of reset was based on the code not running after cycling power.
Would you be willing to share the circuitry associated with your reset and boot-mode-select pins with me privately?
Also please take a look at the tips provided in: https://e2e.ti.com/support/microcontrollers/c2000/f/c2000-microcontrollers-forum/878674/faq-flash---how-to-modify-an-application-from-ram-configuration-to-flash-configuration
Hi Hareesh,
Yes, I can share that information. Please let me know where to send this.
Thanks,
Cameron
