Hi,
I am having a problem with the MSP430 programmer. We produce 1000s of units in China and see around 15% failure rate in programming the device. Today, I discovered that the failure is not consistent across PCs when attempting to program the unit. The programmer fails on one PC and the same programmer works on another. I have attached the relevant portion of the design how I have it wired. I would appreciate some advice regarding this matter. I am considering getting an extender USB hub with its own power supply, my guess there is something weird going on with the USB port on that computer causing that excessive failure and using a powered USB hub might resolve it. Did anyone had similar problems with the MSP FET programmer https://www.ti.com/tool/MSP-FET. Thanks for the help.
Fahd
Hi Fahd
What's the software you use on the PC? Uniflash?
What's the error shows when failed?
