Hi,
When we are trying to use the MSP-FET debugger we are getting the following error -
"Fatal error: Failed to re-initialize Session aborted!"
Please find the below screen shot.
In the debugger window I am getting the following output -
Mon May 17, 2021 19:49:52: Using license: Network license: usae2svmdgapp01.slm.moog.com (STD)
Mon May 17, 2021 19:49:53: Could not find MSP-FET430UIF on specified COM port : (Initialize) , port=USB, version=0xffffffff
Mon May 17, 2021 19:54:11: Fatal error: Failed to re-initialize Session aborted!
Could you please let us know what might be the issue here?

Hi Leo,
Yes I am using the new MSP-FET. I used the legacy one earlier. But after TI suggested that it was no longer supported I got the new MSP FET debugger. I am seeing it is connected to COM port 44 in device manager. Following is the screen shot -
