MSP430G2553: Using DSLite for production programming

Hi,

We are currently in the process of designing the production programs for an MSP430G2553 product.

At the moment we are attempting to use DSLite to automate the programming, however we need a return value indicating whether programming has been successful or not to proceed with further steps in our testing regimen or otherwise.

is there a way to obtain such a return value? A simple true or false error level would be more than enough for us.

Don't know about DSLite, but (older) TI MSP-Flasher (that using MSP430 dll same as any other TI PC side software) is open source, so you can modify it and / or customize it to fit your automated programming.
