MSP430FR2155: How to shorten the wakeup time from LPM4.5

Hi Experts,

We want to shorten the wakeup time from LMP4.5. It takes about 350us.

This is battery application so power budget is so critical. Using LPM4.5 and wake up by external interrupt. As soon as CPU executes then go into LPM4.5 again.

Do you have any idea?

Hello Uchikoshi,

There is not any way to reduce the specification for LPM4.5 wake up time as specified in the datasheet. They could consider using LPM3 instead, which has much faster wake up although a higher current consumption.

Hi Eddie,

I am guessing 350us includes some initialization time of C runtime though I am not sure how long it takes.

I understand that the wakeup time related to hardware. I wan to know the way by software.

Do you have any idea?
