Hi Team,

When MSP430F449 only uses 4M crystal oscillator to connect to XT2, the clock initialization example program will be posted, and when only XT2 is connected to 4M crystal oscillator, how MSP439F449 divides the 4M crystal oscillator for main clock and subsystem clock use.

I saw this part. This part only has clock source selection for XT2, and there is no corresponding register for frequency division. That is, if I only connect XT2 4M, I have no way to divide the main clock, or I don’t have it. Find the corresponding register.

Checked on UG, there is no division between XT2 and MCLK/SMCLK. May I know the reason why the frequency division is needed here? if the division is needed, I think we can consider connect crystal on XT1.
