MSP430FR2355 , BOOSTXL-K350QVG-S1

BOOSTXL-K350QVG-S1 adheres to the 40-pin LaunchPad and BoosterPack pinout standard.

MSP-EXP430F5529LP — MSP430F5529 USB LaunchPad development kit can be used on https://www.ti.com/tool/BOOSTXL-K350QVG-S1

compared with MSP-EXP430F5529LP and MSP430FR2355 LaunchPad , the 40-pin connections are compatible. But I am not sure if 32KB memory of FR2355 is enough for MSP Graphics Library.

From pin connection point of view, I think BOOSTXL-K350QVG-S1 can be used on MSP430FR2355 LaunchPad.

I connect BOOSTXL-K350QVG-S1 to MSP430FR2355 LaunchPad, But LCD still is off. Does Not show reaction.

Can you explain how to implement it for start-up?
I need change some pin or J?

  • This example showcases grlib on MSP-EXP430F5529LP + BOOSTXL-K350SVG-S1 Boosterpack

Please compare the 40-pin connection between MSP-EXP430F5529LP and MSP430FR2355 LaunchPad and porting the library from F5529 to FR2355.

I suggest you can test LCD SPI communication channels firstly according to BOOSTXL-K350QVG-S1 QVGA Display BoosterPack Plug-in Module User's Guide (Rev. B) using FR2355 SPI code example: MSP430FR235x, MSP430FR215x Code Examples (Rev. D)
