MSP430G2553: MSP432 XDS110 for debugging

The MSP-EXP430G2ET is currently unavailable, and I need to do my own board anyway. Can I use the debugger on my MSP432P401 Launchpad to debug this processor?

Hi Keith,

Unfortunately, no. The XDS110 is for program/debug TI ARM based MCUs, like the MSP432P401. You can use any MSP430 launchpads to perform debug and programming on the MSP430G2553.
