MSP430F5310: Use TI-RTOS

I would like to know how to start a TI-RTOS project on my device. There is TI-RTOS documentation on the documentation, but I can't find any starting project for MSP devices on CCS, also after TI-TOS installation.

Hi Samuelr,

TIRTOS for MSP430 is no longer supported as of a couple of years ago and I don't believe the F5310 is included. It is recommended that you look at FreeRTOS.

on the MSP430F5310 web page. What does it mean? why is not clearly written that the TI-RTOS is not supported by this microcontroller?

Guess what? I'm really fed up with TI. I didn't find any example to get a basic version of freertos on my mcu. Because I have also memory issue.

Hi Samuelr,

I asked around and the only guidance I was given is the version of SYS/BIOS that supports MSP430 (version shown below) does not list MSP430F5310, but that the F5529 example could probably be ported to the F5310. That's the best we can offer.
