MSP430FR2155: Programming setup and drivers required

Hi ,

I am trying to use MSP FET Flash Emulator tool to program the MSP430FR2155TRHAR controller on my PCB.

As I don't have much knowledge on the firmware setup, could you please let me know if I need to install any drivers to communicate with my PCB?

As of now I have interfaced JTAG pins with MSP FET flash emulator tool. If i try to load my program into the controller I can see the below error.

"Can't Initialize the Target CPU

Failed to open COM65 at 9600 baud open;The system cannot find the file specified."

One last question, Can i use MSP-EXP430G2 Launchpad to program MSP430FR2155TRHAR.

If I remember right, on G2 LP is old eZ-FET Lite that does not work with FRAM target devices. New G2ET LP (https://www.ti.com/tool/MSP-EXP430G2ET) is with new eZ-FET Lite (similar to other FRAM LP's) that work with FRAM target devices.

Yes, thanks to mentioned that just the new G2ET LP that with eZ-FET can support it. More information you can refer to the debugger user's guide table 1
