EVM430-I2040S: Code generation with EMDC and reduction in stack size

Hello,

If i directly get the code generated by EMDC for EVM430I2040S then is it any changes to be made in or i can burn it blunt to board.

Also in case of reducing the stack size 128 is ok for same and how can i do the same ?

Hi Gautam,

You can program the code made by EMDC to EVM. Why you need to reduce the stack size?

Hello,

The reason is that i am going to generate the code for i2041 from EMDC and wanted to burn on the i2040.

So will you please suggest which things need to be consider while doing the same ?

Hi Gautam,

Do not suggest you reduce the stack size. If you want to reduce your code size suggest you could try delete the communication part with GUI or setting the optimization level File->Properties-> Optimization
