MSP430G2744: Keyboard application queries

Hi,

We are planning to use MSP430G2744 for interfacing with standard PC keyboard over USB or I2C.

We have few queries on the same. The keyboard that we are planning to use is below.

  • Can we have both I2C and USB interface option for this?
  • Do we need pull ups for all the column lines(18 columns)?
  • How do we do the programming especially in factory? Can it be flashed through processor?
  • Please review the draft schematics below and provide your comments
