What are the effects of a slow moving signal on the GPIO pin of a microcontroller?

Hi team,

What are the effects of a slow moving signal on the GPIO pin of a microcontroller? For example, if the edge of the signal is about 5-10 us (or 5-10 ms), would that cause any issues in detecting a logic level or undesired device behavior?  What other concerns/issues/effects would you expect?

Thanks,

Chi
