MSP430FR5969: Install TI-RTOS in CCSv10?

Hi there,

I've been trying to figure out how to install TI-RTOS (2.20) into my CCS v10 installation.

All the documentation I've found, states it should be easy peasy - open the Resource Explorer and select TI-RTOS. But no, I only get the following two options:

Then I fetched the TI-RTOS installer and hoped it would either add automatically to my CCS installation, or that I could find something inside about how to, but no.

So my question is: Is it possible to get TI-RTOS (for my MS430FR5969) integration into CCS v10? (and if "yes", how? :))

    Hi Martin, 

    If you have it installed see if you can find and add it to your path (Include Options), this should help CCS find it. I will look into this further when I am able to if that doesn't help you.

    Hi Luke,

    Thanks for the response. I'm not sure your definition of "path" and "Include Options" is the same as what was required, but nevertheless it made me look around, and I found that the "Product discovery path" (Preferences > Code Composer Studio > Products) was not including the path to where I installed the TI-RTOS (because I installed CCS in a non-default location, but TI-RTOS in its default one).

    So now I'm happy and can generate TI-RTOS examples Thumbsup
