MSP430FR59941: SPI

When I try to connect devices by SPI interfaces, I am not sure what's the meaning of the UCA0STE pin? Should it connect to the slave device? How to connect?

This pin is used in 4-pin SPI mode. Details refer to MSP430FR58xx, MSP430FR59xx, and MSP430FR6xx Family User's Guide (Rev. P) eUSCI-SPI chapter
