MSP430FR6043: SHA256 using hardware accelerator?

Hi!

Does the MSP430FR6043 family have support for hardware accelerator based SHA256 hashing algorithm?

I cannot find any information on that. Can you use the AES module?

Hi Thibault,

The FR6043 doesn't have support for SHA256 hardware acceleration. However, here's a user's guide that discusses how to implement SHA256 in software: https://www.ti.com/lit/slaa547. The user's guide also contains links to the source code for the algorithm.
