MSP430G2313: BSL password error issue

Hi team,

The left figure above shows the end of the txt burn file, and the right figure is a manual BSL password.

The BSL Downloader always shows a password error, the customer would like to know the correct password.

Could you help check this case? Thanks.

Hi Cherry,

The BSL Password should be located at FFE0h to FFFFh as that is where the RX Password looks to receive it. After a mass erase (which is an unprotected command so you can always perform it) the password is set to logic high for all bits, so it would be all F's in the bytes.

Otherwise the password would be something set by the customer.
