MSP430F149: Write spwm signal program, waveform is abnormal

Part Number: MSP430F149

Hi team,

When converting polarity (TBCCR1, or TBCCR2 needs to be set to 0), only the exception occurs at this point on the graph. The rest of the pulse duty cycle has been checked and is normal:

The customer has the fills about the Timer A, and the customer would like to know is it possible to provide the file of Timer B.

Could you help check this case? Thanks.

Best Regards,

Cherry

  • Hi Cherry,

Let me make sure I understand what the customer is looking for.  They need example code to create a PWM using TimerB?

  • Hi,

They need example code to create a PWM using TimerB?

No, since the reference book only has a detailed description of the TimerA register, the register where TimerB differs from the timer is not described in the book, the customer would like to see the detailed description and description of the register for the timer B.

The sample points are read by table-checking, the customer mainly would like to see the detailed description in the TimerB register.

    Thanks and Best Regards,

    Cherry

  • Hi Cherry,

Ok, I'm looking at the msp430x1xx Family User guide , section 12-Timer B.  It does call out the differences between Timer A and Timer B.  Each of these differences are then highlighted in a corresponding sub-section.

Is the customer looking for more detailed information about the differences or just Timer B in general?  All the information about this device and its peripherals are covered in the user guide - there isn't any additional documentation available to customers.   What specifically does the customer want to know?
