MSP430F5510: MSP gang programr download ERROR 352

Hi team,

The following problem occurs when saving the testcode from the following software interface to the image 1.0 with "Save to Image", and shows the shows the following error: ERROR352.

It's not actually stored in Programr. (Customer can save to Image by doing the same on a previously purchased programr. The problem may is not related to the upper-bit interface and the testcode). Also, the Interactive mode allows to be burned to the target MCU, but can't download the TXT file into MSP GANG PROGRAMMER.

Could you help check this case? Thanks.

    The first image doesn't have the best quality, looks like it was compressed so I can't make out the details of it.

    Does this issue only happen on one device, but works on others? I see you state "Customer can save to Image by doing the same on a previously purchased programr."

    Yes, this issue is only happened on one device, the customer has bought 2, and one is good, one is abnormal.

    Hi Cherry,

    Can the customer run the self-test on the GANG they are having an issue with and share the result? There is information on this in the user's guide www.ti.com/lit/pdf/slau358 section 2.4 Self Test. This will help to check the MSP-GANG hardware. NOTE: When running the self-test you should not have any MSP target devices connected to the programmer, just the programmer all by itself connected to the PC.

    Hi Ivy,

    Can you download the latest software update for the MSP-Gang, it can be found here. MSP-GANG-SOFTWARE. Then run the self-test again?

    Hi Cherry,

    I noticed on the label that the programmer is fresh – from August 2021 (SN 21081011) . Hardware revision 1.05. That hardware uses the newer internal serial flash (image flash) and for supporting that serial flash must be used also newer software, but used software is old from 2018. Please download the latest software from the TI website.
