Good day. I am posting this query on behalf of my client as follows:

"I am developing a project based on the msp430fr5994+eusci_spi-standard_master example.
I am confused about the interruption function "__bis_SR_register()".
I am not sure about the difference between the parameters combination "CPUOFF + GIE" and "GIE". Could you help me?"

Any thoughts on these?
