MSP430F5659: Failed to download the program in MSP430F5659IPZR

1. The connection of the JTAG

2.Dose your customer lock the IC? It shows that it can't verify the Fuse. The program stuck at this step.

There is no problem with JTAG and the Microcontrollers are procured from supplier. we ourself do the programming how there is a chance of locking.

The first ERROR is JTAG communication error.

Maybe you can check if the COM port is correct.

And do you try to use SBW(2-wire)? For JTAG, you need connect 4-wire.

It is not the COM port issue. I am sure about it. My problem is some controllers program downloading for few has a problem. We are not trying SBW.

Is there any option customer lock the soft-fuse. Try to use BSL to unlock the JTAG.
