Hi expert

Customer would like to use MSP430F5510 USB function. They plug the USB interface into computer and run 430 example project from msp430ware\usblib430\MSP430_USB_Software\MSP430_USB_API\examples\HID_humanInterface, but computer has not any new device indication.

May I ask if the example could run in F5510 device? Below is customer hardware board USB circuit.

I am not sure about msp430ware, but MSP USB stack per default is configured for 4 MHz XT2, and will not work with another XT2 value without source modification.

For testing MSP430 USB hardware setup can be used device without downloading any software example. Device can be mass erased by FET, and after this connected (powered up) by USB cable to PC. If everything on board (regarding USB) is OK, and there is 4, 8, 12 or 24 XT2, MSP430 factory HID BSL will automatically start and device should be enumerated by PC OS as HID.
