Hi TI Team,

We are using MSP430F5529 Microcontroller in one of our application. For the same, we are planning to use BSL Software Invoke(using BSL Port for Flashing the Code).

Please advice us with the required Hardware Circuit and Firmware Code required for the same. Please revert back asap.

    Our MSP430 Flash Devices BSL User's Guide can provide you with all the information needed to perform BSL including the hardware setup and software invoke.

    MSP430F5529 is with HID factory preloaded (TI open source) BSL. Easiest way is to use it with board connected to PC by USB cable with RST / BSL button. Pressing both, and releasing RST button first will start BSL and device should be enumerated (if onboard USB hardware par is OK) as HID by OS.

    Best reference for hardware design is MSP-EXP430F5529LP (target device part), and on PC side can be used BSL with Win GUI (Firmware update example) or CLI BSL scripter, both are open source.
