MSP430FR6047: Abnormal flow rates

Hello,

I have been experiencing a problem with some of the water meters we are making. They all have the same configuration and have the same meter constant but there are times that some send values like 7147 lph or 11342 lph and flip from positive to negative. Could there be something I am missing in all this. I cant seem to figure it out. The MSP doent produce any errors during this time. One thought i Had was the tranducers but I dont know how to accurately check them that they operate normal.

Any advice would be really helpfull.

Hi Nomikos,

Have you checked whether it is a false wave phenomenon caused by unreasonable parameter configuration.
In this case, the calculated DTOF will have a large change.

Generally speaking, the time of one transducer cycle will be staggered, such as (1MHz-1us). This change will cause a big sudden change in flow rate.
