MSP430G2001: Dumb question, what does the G mean in MPS430G2001?

Part Number: MSP430G2001

I've used MPS430s for a long time, and they all started with MSP430F which I assumed meant "internal Flash". I assume FR means Ferroelectric RAM.

What do MSP430G and MSP430L mean in the part numbers?
