MSP430FR5994: BOOSTXL-AUDIO Sample Project

Part Number: MSP430FR5994
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BOOSTXL-AUDIO,

I am attempting to use the sample project, BOOSTXL-AUDIO_RecordPlayback_MSP430FR5994, provided in Code Composer Studio to create a program that can create a harmony in real time using the MSP430 and the BOOSTXL-AUDIO pack. However, when I attempt to run the initial project without any changes the code does not work as expected.

I press S1 as stated in the instructions for recording for 3 seconds and the red LED lights up. When I press S2 the green LED lights up indicating playback but I only hear static instead of the audio I just generated.

I’d appreciate help on what I’m doing wrong. The project code remains untouched and both the MSP430 and BOOSTXL-AUDIO pack were bought brand new.
