The MSP430FR58xx, MSP430FR59xx, and MSP430FR6xx Family User's Guide stated that these devices have Sigma-Delta High Speed (SDHS) peripheral. However, the datasheet of MSP430FR59691 didn't mentioned that it has SDHS.
The filter in the MSP430 product page doesn't include the SDHS and most MSP430FR58xx, MSP430FR59xx devices doesn't have this feature. The application report entitled "Answers to Common Sigma-Delta ADC Questions on MSP MCUs" shows that the SHDS feature is available in FR50xx and FR60xx devices only. Please refer to the screenshot below.
Our customer would like to know in general how to determine if a feature described in the user's guide is available in a specific microcontroller.
