Here's an issue from the customer may need your help:

The uart transfer routine is as follows, which transfers the external FIFO stored data into the msp430 > Where is it stored after transfer? And what is the address?

Could you help check this case? Thanks.

I don't see any code here which stores anything anywhere. I see what appears to be a setting of UCA0IE:UCRXIE=1, but it's part of a ("/*") comment, so it's not really there.

If UCRXIE were being set, I would expect to see an ISR function ("#pragma vector=USCI_A0_VECTOR") which stores the Rx data in memory, but I don't see the ISR here either.

TI example msp430F55xx_uscia0_uart_01.c does something similar. It's probably useful to compare with what you're doing.
