Newbie here ... just got my Launchpad and started to get my feet wet. Tried the Led-blink program.
I have have the standard, out-of-the-box MSP430 Launchpad and the downloaded free software. I also have a 9 gram, remote control micro servo motor that I would like to use Launchpad to control the position of the servo arm. The servo is not a 360 servo. I only need the arm to take 2 positions, full left and full right. I only need it to change position once.
Is is possible to control the servo with what I have (plus some resistors, capacitors, etc.) or do I need a 1) different MSP430 verson or 2) different software? 3) different timer?
It seemed to me that if the demo LED blink program could allow the controlling of framerate and pulse width, it could be adapted to servo control. Comments? Thoughts?
Thanks,
