MSP-GANG: Image file for IAR Embedded Workbench IDE (standalone programming)

Hi Experts,

Good day. We have this query from Cx:

The question is how do I create the image file necessary for this process to work using IAR Embedded Workbench IDE?

We usually click Download and Debug in order to get this to work on IAR Workbench, but not unsure if that provides the necessary files or the image. Is there a way to check this?

For generating binary in ti txt or any other format Options > Linker > Output

So after we got the xx.txt file, we just add this to SD card, put it in the MSP-Gang and we're now able to program up-to 8 boards, correct?

Yes. Output tab is for generating ti txt output binary. Near Output tab there is also Extra Output tab for generating binary in any other format.
