MSP430F5234: Device Channel Mapping Configuration

Hi,

We encountered another question about FW configuration. For the port map setting, found a wrong order at physical RJ45 port 2 and port 4. It caused this two RJ port couldn’t be detected during SIFOS 802.3 AF test.

In our setting process, assigned two logical channels to the physical RJ45 port on launching PSE System Firmware GUI. Then, check on if the order is correct on “Port Config Summary View” page. After checking physical RJ45 port 2 and port 4. the order of channel number is wrong.

Please advise how to fix it.

Hi Cash,

On our POE board, we have one MPS430 and six TPS23881. Therefore, we need to set a proper configuration. In our application, each PSE controller needs to support BT feature.

So, I'd like to know how to set a correct configuration for this POE board. If it is not related to your job, please let me know and advise. Thanks.

I do not think this BOE application is designed by the MSP team. You might look for help from the TPS23881 team.
