Hello,

Customer performs 4-channel simultaneous AD conversion on SD24 of MSP430i2040TRHB.

The customer would like to know the minimum time from the start of conversion to writing the SD24MEMx register.

The customer uses 16-bit precision, OSR=32.
How many clock minutes is the conversion time?

Hi,

I could not find a exact conversion data on the datasheet. So, suppose it takes 30 clock cycles for one data conversion on SD24. Then the conversion time should be 30*OSR = 960 clock cycles. The fm is 1.024MHz. So the conversion time should be around 937.5us.

By definition, it would be 32 cycles of the modulator clock. Of course it takes longer than that for the digital filter to settle.
