MSP-GANG: ERROR 354: Code in the file contains invalid data.

Hi Team,

Our customer is trying to add a *.a43 or a *.txt file to MSP-GANG programmer but he keeps getting the error message below. He is programming a MSP430F54138AIPNR controller. He ran the self test program at Section 2.4 of the MSP-Gang Programmer User's Guide and no errors were found. What could be the cause of this error?
