MSP430F5358: Bootloader for field upgrade

Do you have errors when build our demo code in the application note?

With default example separate make file is mentioned to build,

but om changing it to use default build command it starts giving error as mentioned in question. 

What's your CCS's version and the compiler's version? I recommend to use the compiler "TI v18.12.4.LTS".

I use CCS version 11.1 there is no make issue you got. Below is my default setting with build.

My CCS version is 10.4.0, and I had compiler version 20.2.6.LTS, with this compilation i am getting following error.

And when i have downloaded the compiler version 18.12.8.LTS, i am getting same error as of V20 compiler.

From the error massage it seems there are some symbols you have not defined. Have you define  in the CMD file? 

Yes it is there in the CMD file, still having the same error.

Could you share your project here? I can build it from myside.

I guess you have not understand our demo code clearly. Recommend you to read the the application note first.

First thing you should take care is our demo have three CCS projects for one completed demo:

1. Host project: Using to send the firmware to the target device

2. Boot project: This is the customize bootloader

3. Application project: User's application projects

Some quests about the project you send to me:

It seems you send to me a application project based on the named and the cmd file you used. But you include the filed for boot project like the files in folder named "App_Mngr" "Commn" and so on
