MSP430F5529: how to access pin 4.4 and 4.5

Hi Experts,

Our customer is using msp430f5529 and want to access pin 4.4 and 4.5 but the launch pad has not access to it.

Also, he is using SPI in msp430f5529 and want to transfer the sensor data coming from it to the computer for which he is using UART module of 5529, our question is "can MSP430f5529 board handle such simultaneous transactions?" Please advise. Thank you so much in advance.

THey are connected to the J6.1 and J 6.2 the TXD and RXD serial connection to the back channel UART. Simply remove the jumpers to connect to the pins. See the schematic in the LaunchPad Users guide.

Also, F5xx family is with port mapping where any peripheral pin can be rerouted to any pin of port 4, and on LP P4.0 to P4.5 are available. P4.7 is connected to LED2.

What Keith said is correct, if you look at the schematic towards bottom of user guide you will see:

For SPI they can use UCB0, check out section 2.7 (pg 26) on launchpad user guide.
