MSP430G2744: Timer A3 in Up Mode

Hi Team,

My customer wants to use the timer A3 in Up Mode and has a few questions listed below.

  1. As it says in SLAU144J 12.3.1 TACTL bit5-4, "01 Up mode:the timer counts up to TACCR0.", is it correct that to use the timer in up mode, they must also set TACCR0?
  2. Is it correct that the value that needs to be set in TACCR0 equal to or greater than the value in TACCR2?
  3. Is it correct that the timing to set the TACCR0 bit is ok anytime as long as it is set before TACTL bit 5-4 is set to 01? If not, when should they set it?
