Output max current

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP430G2553

I am trying to find the maximum output current per output for the Z430G2553! The datasheet states it to be as much as 12.5 mA at 0.5 VDC! That seems incredible! Is that the total for all outputs? Page 24 of msp430g2553.pdf states for a single output (1.7) but does not say whether other outputs must be off. Thanks for any help! -MIKEM

It is per port pin. However, the sum of all affects the voltage drop. e.g. for a voltage drop of 0.3V, teh current per port pin is 6mA, but the total for all port pins may not exceed 48mA then, else the 0.3V cannto be guaranteed.

There are no specific values for other voltage levels and multi-pin relations (it would result in an n-dimensional diagram to show all possible values on all supply voltages, operatign temperatures etc.)
