MSP430F5172: Is it possible to recommend a second source for this component?

Good morning,

This component is now difficult available to market. Is it possible to replace it with a pin compatible component?

    Hi Karel,

    What package are you using?

    The closest devices that are a match to the MSP430F5172, are going to be the one listed in table 3-1 in the device datasheet.

    Depending on which peripherals and how much memory you are actually using, one of these is probably the best option as a replacement.
