I am getting the "Load program error" while working with the mentioned part number launchpad. I tried the following link also for the rectification but unfortunately it did not workout for me.

I am using CCS 11.1 version and 3.80.14.01 MSP430Ware and to answer your second question, I tried to configure the clock for 24 MHz, after that i was getting the program load error for every kind of program even the empty project.
However I referred the following link related to same problem available on this platform itself.
