MSP430F6733A: How to erase Information Memory B to D

Hi, all.

I intend to erase Information Memory B.

Describing in 7.2.1 of User's Guide SLAU208Q,  "If LOCKA=1, segment A cannot be written or erased, and all information memory is protected from being segment erased".

Is the flag LOCKA affected to Information Memory B to D to erase? 

To erase Information Memory B, must we set UNLOCK to LOCKA?

I'm concerned to erase Information Memory A with unexpected bugs.

    LOCKA only applies to segment InfoA. You should not clear it to erase segments B/C/D, to avoid (as you mention) mistakes.

    The text you quoted appears to have a typo -- I suspect "segment erased" should have been "mass erased". The analogous line in the F2 user guide [SLAU144J Sec 7.2.1] refers (correctly) to mass-erase.

    Thanks for your reply.

    I think LOCKA only applies to InfoA.  I examined a test program to check the effect of LOACKA, and I can erase while LOCKA=1.

    I'm confusing and want to confirm the functions.  You said that's typo and I understand the mean of LOCKA.
