MCU, USB protocol and memory access

Hi!

I am trying to find a low power consuption MCU to which I can communicate through USB C to be able to read a integrated memory on the PCB. Does anything like this exist? What would you suggest? THe memory is not decided, I am thinking about a NAND or emmc memory.

Some of MSP430 devices (from flash 5xx and 6xx family) are with full speed USB (not high speed) hardware module. Connector can be USB C, but transfer is limited to (2.0) full speed. Don't know about requested memory size, but there is TI open source USB developer package with examples. There is example where msp430 device is used as USB memory stick with txt file that can be opened and modified on PC. If I remember right, in one example for storage is used internal (msp430) flash, in another for storage is used memory card connected to msp430.

Hi Jose,

In addition to what zrno provided we also have an example of MSP interfacing with external MMC cards, though it sounds like you would need to modify this for your application.
