MSP430FR6043: firmware update via Infra Red Port

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am designing ultrasonic water flow meter using MSP430F6043 with IAR.

I would like to update the MSP430 firmware via infra red port on this design.  Does TI has any reference design to guide me how to update the firmware via IR port? 

If yes, can you share with me?

    Hi Felix,

    TI does not have an example like this to my knowledge. Something like this should be possible, but it would really be a custom programming solution.

    I'll leave this thread open though in case any of our community members have seen something like this or have any suggestions.
