I am assuming you are using MSP-FET? Can you tell me what your cap value and Resistance is on the RST/NMI line? 

Can you also ensure that the SBW cables are less than 10cm?

Cap : 2.2nF; Res : 47K

Hi Yale, 

Okay sounds good those are the right values. Have you looked into the MSP430 Programming With the JTAG Interface users guide? Section 2.4 explains the common considerations for a fuse blown status. 

And to answer your question, the MSP430AFE253 product page links to the MSP430F2xx, MSP430G2xx Family User's Guide, meaning functionality for the most part is the same. I will double check with a teammate to make sure if that applies to JTAG as well.

The customer used the FR family devices before. Such as 4133,6972, can use this circuit to blow the fuse. But this one can't blow the fuse. Could there be a problem elsewhere?
