RF2500 problem...

Hi. I have an RF2500 kit. I loaded the program into it, and the program starts.

I discovered that the receiver board that connects to the batteries was connected upside

down, and got very hot. As of now, the MSP's start running, but the boards cannot find each other.

The red and green LED's on the boards toggle, which they should when they haven't linked yet.

All they are doing is toggling.

  • It's possible that you fried the HF part of the receiver board.

The MSP itself  is fairly robust and can stand some stress, but the analog HF circuitry may have been damaged. Without being able to send and/or receive, the MSP on this board will wait forever for a connection.

  • Scott,

Are you sure that you reprogrammed the devices into two different profiles? Make sure one is AP, and the other is ED.

If you search the forum/ti website there is a utility to reprogram the AP and ED to the default executables.
