MSP430F4784: GPIO pin read, ground issue

Hi, 

I'm currently working on MSP430F4784.

I'm just using GPIO pins to read 24V signal ON & OFF.

My application code is running perfectly for some certain time.

but suddenly controller is getting hang and some pins are in high state is that happens in some msp430.

Mostly this happens when I'm turning on servo motors in application on GPIO external Input, but I'm using relays between mcu and motor.

What would be the issue?

Does MSP430 won't run in high load (load is 1A approx).

I think there is no problem in turning on motor. The problem is GPIO input so.

NOTE : In below schematic there is no motor connection only the GPIO input.

My question does the input filter enough or else any changes to be made?

  • You are switching high currents which means that you must pay very careful attention to where those currents are going. Your schematic is useless for seeing that. Besides not showing the high current switching there is no detail on wiring.
