Hi,

I am trying tom flash \MSP430BSL_1_02_00_01\Released_BSL_Images\BSL.00.06.04.04 this BSL image to MSP430F5310 through uniflash8.0.0.4026 but it shows the following errors. How to flash this BSL image into MSP4F5310 using uniflash. Also what the thing need to be fill in that password box. i tried with 32 bit FF password at ffe0. Is there any solution for this.

Hi,

Are you using an MSP FET? Are you using a launchpad or a custom board?

Yes I am using MSP FET and MSP- TS430RGC64B.

okay... the issue is solved. But the response from BSL is different that mentioned in datasheet. While sending any command to BSL the response is E0 00 E0 E0. Can you identify the issue?

I want to confirm: did checking that box resolve the issue or was it something else?

The BSL should not respond with "E0 00 E0 E0". Can you share waveforms? Have you reviewed MSP430 Flash Devices Bootloader (BSL)?
